My work emphasizes emotions and personal experiences through mixed media. Struggling with depression and anxiety, my work provides me with a voice to speak about things words cannot express. It is a collection of materials and experiences expressed using the body as a vessel. I work with clay, metal, and plaster because of their suppleness, adaptability, and robustness, making them perfect to convey the concepts of strength and survival. I want my work to connect with viewers on a deep, personal level, letting them know that there is someone out there who listens, sees, and understands. No matter how treacherous life is, you must find a reason to persevere- art is my reason.
